Once the download has completed, a Connoisseur window should open automatically. If the window does not open, double click on the disk image. Drag the Connoisseur application from the window to your "Applications" folder. You can now eject the disk image by dragging it to the trash or clicking the eject button.  Tutorial Movie Compatibility Connoisseur will work on Mac OS X 10.3 "Panther" or later, including Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger". Upgrading You may select to have Connoisseur alert you when updates are available by selecting "check for updates on launch" in 'Preferences'. Otherwise, you may check for available updates by clicking "check for updates" in the 'Connoisseur' menu. To upgrade Connoisseur, download the new version from its homepage and simply follow the installation steps above. If, in step 3, a dialogue box appears asking if you would like to overwrite the existing copy of Connoisseur, select "Replace". Registering To register Connoisseur first launch the application. A shareware panel will appear. If you wish to purchase and register Connoisseur, click the "Purchase" button. A new window will appear for the purchasing process. Simply complete the steps and the application will register itself. You should recieve a confirmation email in your inbox. Please file this away for safe keeping. Note: Please do not purchase the software until you have tested the trial version as there may be issues unique to your system. Uninstalling To remove Connoisseur from your system, locate the application either by navigating to your "Applications" folder or right clicking on its Dock icon and selecting "Show in Finder". You may then drag Connoisseur into the trash. Make sure you have quit the application before emptying the trash. To remove the database, open your home directory and navigate to /Library/Application Support/TLAF. Delete the Connoisseur folder by dragging it into the trash.
